This is kind of a short notice but we are planning a February TalkVegas meet.

Sat., Feb. 19 after 3 pm or Sun., Feb. 20 anytime is best for us.

Lee and the gang are coming out this week so we only have a couple of days to decide when and where.

Anyone else going to be around this week? Any and all are invited to come by and eat, drink, chat, or just stop by to say hello.

No obligations. If you find us weird, you can say "hello, nice to meet you, we have to leave now" <g>. If you find us "okay," stick around and chat with us for as long as you want.

I'll just throw out a few suggestions here for a place. Anyone else have any suggestions?

California Pizza Kitchens, inside the Golden Nugget, serves bbq chicken piza, Thai chicken, BLT piza, pasta dishes, grilled items & calzones. Open for lunch & dinner.

Gee Joon Chinese Cuisine, inside Binion's Horseshoe, serves fish, lovster, shrimp, meat, chicken, and duck dinners along with other typical Chinese rice and appetizers. Open 5-10:30 pm. (We should make reservations if we decide on this place.)

Main Street Station Brew Pub (Triple 7 Brew Pub), inside the Main Street Station, serves burgers, pizza, Southwest specialties, buffalo wings, sushi and raw oysters.

Holy Cow, 2423 LV Blvd., So., serves steaks, ribs, salads, burgers, and sandwiches. Breakfas, lunch, and dinner served 24 hours.

Tommy Rocker's, 4275 Industrial, serves great ribs, Mexican, burgers, salads.

While you are at the Holy Cow, would you ask someone who seems old enough to know - what business was located in the exact same spot in the early 60's?

I think it was a famous Kosher Coffee Shoppe where everyone congregated late evenings and early mornings every day of the week in the early 60's and maybe even into the early 70's.

We have quite a bit of snow here in New England and it is still coming down pretty good. The weather man says it will be stopping later today with little more accumulation. I hope he is right. It sure looks like its going to accumulate more. Logan airport is open but flights are delayed by many hours. See you tomorrow. T.C.

Weather has been pretty nice here as far as I'm concerned. A little rain last week. More rain expected here Sunday and again Tuesday. But, temps should be in the 60s.
