Great job on the poll V. I was surprised to see that Caesars got so many positive votes. I thought I was in the minority in liking them. Also, it seems that the Rio is getting known for poor comps and poor customer service. Are they ever going to figure out that they are losing customers?

Great poll I enjoyed sharing my views and reading the results. I will print out for my vegas friends who don't have a computer
THANKS. (Typing and spelling are not my good points) I missed school that day. My wife just said I don't have any good points. Well I let her stay around for 42 years I think that is a good point!!

Well, I have eaten at the top three restaurants and I must agree. Michael's is definitely number one.

I am going to try the Mon Ami Gabi with my concierge friend next week. She says it's great, and I believe her.

Got a question, how long does it usually take for the hotels to send offers after you have signed up with the slot card?

It takes 2-4 weeks after you put money in the system. After we are there and play in lots of diff casinos we rec. all kinds of offers. Would like to write back and tell them it would work better if they would offer me something while I am there. I am back home now and won't be back for 2-3 months. Just don't have time for all that writeing LOL

Veronica- Sorry I missed voting on your Vegas Poll. I thought the results were way off base, but thats my opinion and I should have expressed them in the poll. You always do a great job with the Vegas Poll. Hope to catch you in Vgas someday.

Nice job, as always, Veronica.

This is not to disagree with any of the results, but I didn't understand a couple of the picks.

Is the Tropicana in financial jeopardy? Didn't know they were.

And I wonder why Forever Plaid was voted a cheesy show. I haven't seen the LV incarnation, but it always struck me as a charming, unpretentious, and modest show -- kind of the opposite of cheesy.

Dave,
To be quite honest, I didn't understand some of the results either. Just like other polls I've seen on the same subject. But that is what "the people" picked. I understand also that some of the voting was very close on some subjects too.

Dave,

We saw "Forever Plaid" and enjoyed the music very much. The fact that you were jammed in like sardines did take away from the program.

Peoples taste in entertainment is like their taste in ice cream.

Fred,

I'm much more forgiving about ice cream than I am about shows <g>

Dave, I voted for the Trop to go "bang" ...not broke. Tropicana is owned by Aztar, which is finally showing a profit this year EXCEPT for the Trop. Given the fantastic location, I think it's just a matter of time before Aztar decides to implode it and build something on that corner that will make money.
