Sunday night I saw La Nouba at Disney World. It's Disney's permanent Cirque Du Soleil. The theater is almost a dead ringer for Treasure Island's theater and without a bad seat in the house.

This show was very lighthearted and playful--I suppose they made it so because it's Disneyworld, but I went to the 9:00 pm show and couldn't spot a kid anywhere. My daughter noticed the same thing--no kids in attendance that she could see. The enthusiastic adult audience loved the show and gave 2 long standing ovations.

I noticed that some of the acts were culled from the other 4 shows I've seen plus the one I saw on television (Saltimbanco, I believe) and maybe a few others thrown in from shows I haven't seen, and it seemed like they took the Best of the Best. Fantastic show!

If La Nouba was ever brought to LV, it'd make a killing. Maybe that is something that will happen some day---switch Mystere and La Nouba if/when the 2 shows have reached their saturation point in their respective cities.
