We're a group of people with one common interest, Las Vegas and Gambling! (Is that really 1 interest or 2?)

If you'd like to tell us how you found our board and anything about yourself, we'd love to hear it.

I'm a real estate broker in Columbus Ohio. Married, no kids, 4 cats. I get to Nevada 4-6 times a year, my wife typically joins me on a couple trips. Also make an occasional gambling trip to Atlantic City, Biloxi, Detroit, Windsor, Bahamas.

My game of choice is live poker. Also enjoy Pai Gow, 3-card poker, and video poker.

Welcome everyone. Like the Senator I make 4-6 trips a year to Las Vegas. My hotel of choice is Caesars, as long as they comp the room. I like the Orleans also. My wife, Linda, travels with me about twice a year. I have 2 daughters, one granddaughter and two cats.
I'm in sales for an office equipment dealer.

New Members: You have entered a bulletin board containing a "wealth" of information concerning our favorite subject: Las Vegas - to get alot from it, I think you must read and review constantly to learn the latest concerning all of the subject matter reflected in the board format. It is our custom to file a "trip report" each timre we venture to LV - highlighting both good and bad experiences, that way we learn of things to do and not to do. Alot of us will arrange to meet person to person when we are "in town" at the same time. It is alot of fun to meet face to face with people you have been communicating with on a computer. Along these lines we have a "Thanksgiving Meet" scheduled 27 Nov,2002, at 3 pm, in the Irish Pub of the Orleans and we invite all members who are able to attend. I am a systems analyst for an insurance company, working primarily on mainframe computers. Have a wife, two grown sons, one granddaughter sometimes known as the grandangel. Senatorjm and I would probably enjoy swapping stories as I love the poker rooms also, just got back from Biloxi where I played in two different ones. Not sure if we are allowed to post links to other boards on here, but I did post a trip report on the Biloxi board. I also play blackjack and craps, have tried Pai Gow poker but didn't do particularly well at it. I think it's a very tough game at which to win. A little video poker when I feel like it, not too much reel slots as I don't have the necessary psycological equipment to watch the numbers go down, down, down. I am not sure when I am going back to Vegas, as wife wants a different vacation destination this year. Too bad.

Sipsy, tell your wife to let you know how she enjoyed her vacation to wherever she decides to go and you'll let her know how you enjoyed your trip to Las Vegas<G>

LOL, I'm not looking to get a divorce, just another trip to Vegas! I am sure it will happen eventually.

I'm a museum director in Rochester New York, and I love to go to Las Vegas to "do something different, someplace else" which is my definition of a vacation! (Courtesy of the musical Pump Boys and Dinettes)

My husband and I are going to a convention in Vegas in 12 days.

I don't get to go as often as I'd like, which means I OBSESS over planning the details - get enjoyment from the planning almost as much as the actual trip.

Not much of a gambler (too Scottish) but I love the spectacle, the shows, the free stuff and the desert.

I found the link to Talk Vegas recently, from the budget Frommer's web site.
This seems to be the friendliest and easiest board I have ever seen. Congratulations to the organizers!

Just want to extend my warmest welcome to all the new members. We strive to be friendly and informitive. Sharing Las Vegas information with like minded people is what we are all about.

I'm a HVAC contractor, in Berks County, PA.
I have one Daughter, one granddaughter and 2 cats (named Poker & Keno), and I visit Las Vegas about 6 times a year. My Las Vegas trips have changed a great deal over the years. What started out as purely gambling adventures, has turned to visiting with friends we've made over the years. Enjoying a good meal, seeing a top name preformer or show. While I still enjoy a good gamble, it's not the only reason to go to LV for me anymore.
My games of choice;
Black Jack, Pia Gow Poker, Video Poker and on occasion at the Sports Bar in the Flamingo, Cave Man Keno.
