I just read that Buck Owens passed away in his sleep March 25th. This may not seem like Vegas news, but sometimes I would stop overnight in Bakersfield on my way to or from Las Vegas, just to hear Buck at the Crystal Palace. I'll be following this news for a while, to see if they keep the Crystal Palace going with guest stars or his band ... it was always a fun stop with good music and good folks out having fun.
