I've started my daily checking of car rental rates which I usually do the last week before a trip.

I've noticed little things that make some sites so much easier to use than others.

The biggest thing is when I change the 'pick-up' month from June to July. Some sites automatically change the return month to July and some leave it at June. It seems it would be such an easy programming thing to accept that your return date will be AFTER your pickup date and make logical changes automatically.

And am I wrong that the computer should be able to figure out that Ohio is in the United States? I've never heard of Ohio, South Africa!

Some sites give you two months at a time when you click on the calendar. Much more user friendly than one at a time.

I've also found that if you page back to change something, some sites save your information and you only have to change what you want while others make you start from scratch.

Senator, I've become so lazy, I don't hardly check anything anymore, after I've booked something I'm happy with. I just don't have the extra time anymore. I am guessing, there are a lot of people like me. One of the resons, are just the things you pointed out on your post.
