Sorry your wife is ill Jim. And hope she recovers quick and with an itch to travel to Vegas - you are overdue! Seneca Niagara just isn't the same!

It's been fun seeing the different posts, and that some are still showing up, great!

I'm doug and me and my wife Shelley live in Wichita, KS.

At one point I spent a lot of my off time on Vegas forums. We use to fly out to Vegas between 2 and 5 times/year. While we own timeshares in Vegas, we use to enjoy staying a few nights at the different hotels.

Then the suits took firm control, gambling odds went south, the price of land skyrocketed, the price of rooms soon followed and our inexpenive Disney land for adults became the land of $100 meals and $100+ show tickets.

Needless to say we only make it out to Vegas once a year and visit other places to make up the difference. We gamble very little, have started eating off strip and hang out on the strip just to sight see.

Work has changed quite a bit over the years and I just don't have time to visit all the Vegas boards as frequently as before. The difference is I spend more time researching other travel destinations for things to do, places to eat and interesting thing to see. It doesn't leave me as much time for Vegas forums as I once had.
