   March Anyone?
   March Anyone?
Just wondering if anyone else has been looking at March as a possible Vegas visit month? It looks like that is our next trip, to our favorite city. I have no hard set dates at this time, but there will be a March trip.

Hmmmm ... funny you should mention March. I'm thinking sometime around the weekend of the 22nd/23rd since there's a bowling tournament I might want to watch.

I'm leaning toward Feb 29 to March 5. Airfare is cheaper! LOL
I was looking at later in the month, but it gets close to my cruise, and I have to work sometime. Not everyone is retired! LOL
We'll be traveling with Sharons mom, and her friend Penny (Penny has never been to Vegas). We where shocked that Sharons mom asked about Vegas, but I always said when she wants to go, she is always welcome to come with us. It's been over a year since Chuck passed on, and she has been going forward with her life. I'm very happy for her.
Daisy, let me know when you know for sure, and I'll do the same. I just got a great rate from Harrisburg under 295pp. on Delta through Kentucky...er I mean Cinncy, OH., the Airport is in Kentucky however.

Wendell,
I'm truely hooked on Vegas. I hate when I finish a trip and I don't have plans made for another visit. I look forward to each visit, and no 2 are alike.

Do any of you have Spirit Air in your area? My kids can come to Las Vegas, from Atlanta, for $17.77 each way if they book TODAY!! (And if there are any seats left...................) I've never flown Spirit Air, nor known anyone that did, but those prices (starting at $8 each way to/from some places) are amazing.....

Mike,
End of April, I'll be in the carribean. So I got to get my Vegas fix before then!
This weekend I should have all our ducks in a row for planning my March trip. Sandy has just gotten back to me, and she's going to skip this one. Speaking of Ducks in a row...sure would like to see that on my VP machine! lol

DAG,
It doesn't look like our dates will match up. But now Sharon just put a monkey wrench in my plans. Seems there is a function she wants to attend here at home on March 1st. I'm back looking at dates again. So, I'll keep ya posted. I've gotten away from February, it's just a little too cool in the evenings.

Ralph,
I think my motorcycle days are a thing of the past. Currently, I'm happy if I can just walk without too much pain. Even if I were to be cured, I would probably not get on a bike. The desire is gone.

Okay Lee we could meet up for a health walk. Now that I have been diagnosed with diabetes I have been doing a lot of walking to try and keep my blood glucose under control. Last week I put 101 miles on the shoes with 20 of those miles in one day. As Nancy Sinatra says "Are you ready boots? Start walking!

But it beats the alternative?????

An old girlfriend sent me one where the doctor is talking to the patient, "I know you have a busy schedule but would it be easier to make time to excecise 30 minutes a day, or be dead 24 hours a day." I'm going home to workout after I leave the bar tonight!

Ain't that the truth.

Recently someone told me that they don't see how I stay motivated to keep up the routine I have been doing.

I told them that when I see other diabetics with their legs amputated, because they didn't exercise and eat healthy, that that was enough motivation for me.

I'd rather make the time to walk 100 miles a week or else not be able to walk at all.
