Forget about those clowns running for President. You should know by now that you can't trust what they tell you. It is time to vote and it's time to vote on something that you know about.
The deadline for entry in The Best Of Las Vegas 2008 is this Monday, 28JAN08,
There are fewer questions than last year and it is easier to go through. I think it's just about right. This is your chance to vote. If you read this board, I know there are some categories that you can answer on. I doubt many people could give an educated answer to all of the categories. Remember there are blanks for the "best" as well as a series for the "worst".
At the end of the poll, you must fill out name, address, etc. just to keep you honest and keep people from voting too many times. They will also have random drawings for prizes.
Results will be published as well as online on Sunday 23MAR08.
Most of my votes were in the restaurant, entertainment, and hotel catagories. I voted very little on shopping categories. Also of note, I received several e-mails this month from restaurants and shows and other places where my name was on a list, wanting me to vote for them. I don't appreciate that type of solicitation and abuse of my e-mail address, so I did not vote for any of them.
Vote now and have fun! If you have any good answers that you want to share, or questions they forgot to ask, post them here. As for me, I have a little issue with the "best". I prefer a personal "favorite". For instance, my "favorite" place for breakfast probably isn't the "best". My favorite hotel certainly isn't the best. Anyway, I didn't let that bother me and voted with my heart.
