David Bippy Boyer, last seen by TV members as he drew at Wendell & Maxine's meet in November, was featured on our local abc affilate on Thursday morning.

We had the crew and anchor at our house, from 4 am (when the engineer got there) until about 8 am.

And I baked apple cinnamon bread, so the house would smell good and we could feed the engineer, camera man and the on-air talent.

We turned our living room into a caricature studio, since the actual studio is 2 flights up in our house, not accessible for the cables.

Okay, the Vegas connection - they did show a caricature David did of me for my birthday 2 years ago, prominently featureing the Bellagio in the background as I lead a tour, with a tour bus of friends and relatives (you might recognize a few TV members in the bus)


if you want to catch the video, look for the 13WHAM website, something like 13whamdotcom

then use the search box for "boyer" You should come up with a list of videos, its posted in segments.

One of the TV moderators suggested I post on the board about this, hope this isn't going over the no commercial posts rule. But we're just so excited and I am so proud.

Well, Dag, assuming you can find a full pay machine the artwork is probably worth a wild royal and a 5oak combined.

Just please don't try to feed it into a TITO ticket reader on your favorite machine.

I found the site and the article but no video???

From the home page, look for a blue strip under the main banner that says news, sports, entertainment, weather, traffic and stuff like that. One of the cues is video. Once on the video page, there is section on the right called 13 WHAM This Morning. Under that section you will find the 5 links to the segments they did.

dag, since we play at the quarter and dime level, I guess our pictures aren't worth as much as the guys that play at the dollar level. Daisy and the Senator like the Deuces Wild Bonus which pays more for a 5oak, so their pics are worth more too.

jeff, JMT gave good directions. They keep changing the link. When I searched for "Boyer" the link to just the article came up. Then once I clicked on the article, in a few minutes a video screen came up to the right with the first installment of the video clips.

JMT about the living room, lol, that is not an unusual problem - we just had a few more caricature stuff things than usual.

And I would be VERY happy to bake apple cinnamon bread before a next TalkVegas meet. All I need is for you or one of our other high rollers to score me a place with an oven.

One of the villas at Bellagio would be nice.
