to get you in a Vegas mood!

its going to be strange to arrive so late - I only remember arriving after dark once, and that was winter time.

So, to leave Rochester at 10:45pm and not get into McCarran until almost 1 am. Well.... its my last chance at a nonstop, since Airtran will be discontinuing the nonstops at the beginning of July.

As soon as they changed that nonstop from an afternoon to a redeye, I thought - goodbye nonstops! the afternoon flight last november was mostly filled by group travellers. What travel agent is going to send her senior citizen group out at 10:45 pm?

Anyway, I think I've already ranted and raved about this.

Right now, I;m just so excited that the triple C's (Cindy, Cindy and Chris) will all be in Vegas inside of 48 hours!

As the song says, Once you've seen it, you'll never be the same again.

Sure was true for me!

Joe I know what you said about the forecast, but so far it looks like I will grant your wish.

I guess, if you consider 105 "warm."

I think of it as "gee, can you actually breathe the air when its that hot?"

And dag - wow, the slugs must be in shock!

Kes,

I've done many red eyes coming home where I leave around midnight and arrive at 6 AM or so. Never had such a late flight going out. I think my latest has been something like 8 PM, arriving about 9 PM.

Being from the east a 10:45 out doesn't sound so bad, if it really leaves at 10:45. Going out of Philly, home of the 2hr back-up, a 9pm flight often leaves around 10:45 on a good day.

Hope your having FUN!
I will be looking forward to the trip report!
