P.S. I forgot to mention one thing about car rentals. I usually start on the Southwest website - where you can get a really good idea of rates available from about a dozen companies. I have reserved cars through Southwest even when flying other airlines, but I also check any interesting individual car company rates on the car sites since they will sometimes have discounts not available through Southwest. For November, Thrifty has a 10% discount offer for the wild card cars.

FYI, When I was looking for November, Doller was exactly the same price as Thrifty. To the penny.

Tonight I saved $18 on my November rental rate from Thrifty.
So don't forget to re-check those rates. I know I am not done checking!!!

Teah, Dag, I did see that, but I had to pass on the offer. I mean why even put that on the web site. They obviously don't want to rent a PT cruiser. Has anyone checked other rental locations on the PT?
