i thought jmt did a fine job of a trip report.huge room at the suncoast overlooking the golf course and mountains beyond.room has a fridge which is great when it's 110 outside.we had plenty to drink as vons had a buy 2 12packs get 3 free,so i bought a cola and a dr pepper and you can't leave the three free on the shelf.gave most of it to the checkin guy at thrifty which provided another screwup free rental and cheap.bagged going to springs preserve as it was 110 each day with one day at 113.the wife says no bark,110 degrees,that's it i ain't going back in the summer time. i see an alaskan cruise next summer.went to palace station one nit to do the pasta palace and ended up at cabo mex restaurant for great margys not out of a slurpy machine and 1/2 price apps never made it to the pasta place.the rest of the trip is somewhat boring with happy hour at the orleans mex place with buck margys out of thier slurpy machine and apps for dinner.other dining at the bel buffet sucked and is off the eat list,great meal at the point oyster bar,a tough piece of meat at primearily prime,did i mention margys for a buck at the orleans from noon till 6. i did recover from my gaming disaster from the previous trip but not a winning trip but did play within my walking around money.next trip oct.always great to see joe and we did have a great bark, such as it was. also i did not see lee at the bass shops and they did have a tommy bahama sale!

Tommy Bahamma is always on sale at the Bass Pro shop, that's why I go! One day I'm even gonna splurge for a couple of those silk pants too.

How about not giving up on the Bark, just moving it a few months to cooler temps? Just a thought! I leave for Vegas in 3 hours, going to try those $1 Margy's, just too make sure they are safe! LOL

at the cabo mex resaurant/bar at some station casinos,they serve some of the best margys i've had in this town.happy hour at 2.49 each and fresh not out of a slurrpy machine.part of the reason why i could not finish all the coke.<G> actualy diet-rite cola and diet dr. pepper.standard room at the suncoast,500 square feet,upgrade is "golf view" versus "city view".i'ts the best po folk/standard room in town.

DAG, we never made the Orleans this trip. Have cut down on drinking early and doing the drive thing. That's the problem with drink specials like the Margy's you discribed....one always tastes like more!
