Lake Las Vegas, the resort, entertainment, and housing project has filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

To be honest, I never knew it was a company. I've been there several times. I never realized all of those casinos, the lake, the shopping area, the housing, etc. were all one single owner. I thought it was all free enterprise.

I do beleive you left out the best part of the story here however.
The one where they don't have the money to repair the treated sewage pipe that runs under lake Las Vegas. I can't help but wonder what that lake might smell like if it isn't repaired? I guess water front property might take a nose dive (pun intended).

Or the new name for the lake "Lake Lost-Sewage"
