Nevada Highway Patrol Troopers just can't stay out of trouble. The latest problem involves a trooper who was under the influence of marijuana and crashed his car into another car on South Rainbow, killing a person in the other car.

This comes as the dust begins to settle on a case where a Trooper was in a hurry to get back to the station at the end of his shift. He was going about 100 mph with his lights off and crashed into a family of illegal immigrant. resulting in multiple fatalities.

The list really does go on and on. There was the one female Trooper who died in a car crash that wasn't her fault. The rest are an ugly stain on the reputation of the NHP.

They manage to stay in the news with roll overs and other single car accidents.

Ealier this year, a Trooper used a tazer to kill a hit and run driver.

So be careful on the roads. You never know where the NHP will strike next.
