   Escapades
   Escapades
This chapter of Escapades started shortly before 6 a.m., when I pointed the Suby south and had a really relaxed drive until I got to the second summit beyond Baker

Somewhere on Flamingo, I remembered a Chinese place written up in AAA Via magazine, so I decided to check into the Flamingo and then go searching for this

The Taters were patiently waiting when I finally got over to Silverton and we wandered into the brunch. The only will power I used here was to resist topping everything off with a blueberry cheesecake. I enjoyed the champagne, blintz, crepe, French toast, sweet & sour pork, fresh fruit

Daisy - thanks for a great TR. Sounds like you had a good time, had some luck on the machines, and certainly ate well! I got full just reading about it all.

I'm very envious that you got to stay at the Palazzo. I dropped quite a bit of money there in April and haven't gotten any offers from them. Oh well.....

Daisy thanks for the great trip report, but I do beleive the show we dragged you to, was far worse then the one you got us to go see. LOL
Atleast I would stop by and check in at your show to see if it was better. Our show, there wasn't going to be any fixing it!

So, no bowling at all???

I see there was plenty of eating! You made me think about trying the Mandalay Bay buffet....and that takes some doing to get me to think about a buffet! LOL

Thanks for coming out and meeting us, even if it it was for bad shows! Sooo, it's been a few days, any plans for another trip???

Finally, a trip report! I was having withdraw symptoms. LOL

You're right about my drooling over your description of the MB buffet. It'sway up there on my to-do list.

Too bad you didn't get any bowling in. Couldn't you have used your bowling ball in the Palazzo tub? I agree with you about the comfy beds there. I find myself spending more time in the room than usual for Vegas.

Glad you made it home safely and thanks for the Vegas fix!

DAG, there was plenty for a caveman to enjoy at the MB buffet - I was looking forward to my next visit before I finished my shrimp<g>.

I really don't know why I got the invitation to Palazzo, Mike - but I grabbed it fast before they figured out the mistake. LOL, so far, I'd have to put Palazzo in the same gambling class as Wynn, ie, I may not win, but I at least lose slowly.

ROTFL, no argument, Lee - your show wins the "worst" title hands down! This particular Dennis Bono show was boring, but that was just because I personally didn't care for the guests styles - at least they had some performing talent. Isn't it nice that bad shows can be trumped by good company.

Senator, if I'd dragged my bowling stuff upstairs, I might have been willing to use one of those balls; I thought about using one of the waste baskets but figured Palazzo probably valued them higher than I did.

It sure sounds like we need to arrange a meet in the vicinity of the Mandalay Bay buffet!
