The latest economic news to hit Las Vegas is Echelon Place. Boyd just announced that they will put the megaproject on hold. They feel the time is right for this action and hope to complete the project as the economy improves.

Wise decision. This place is hurting pretty badly. And that's not just my opinion. That comes from people on the streets and within the casinos.

I took a lot of photos of the new and upcoming City Center yesterday and two of the buildings are leaning sideways! OH-OH!!!!

I'd wait for tomorrow to offer the punch-line but that could cause some problems, so here it is ......

They were designed to leann that way . It's called VEER. And it's going up slowly but surely.

Check out 'Veer Las Vegas" in a search engine. This project will be the next major attraction in town and just might get it back on its feet once again providing the economic situation changes for the better.
