Has anyone seen the Mirage Volcano construction? It was coming along pretty good when I saw it in May. When is it scheduled to open?

I looked under photos in Talk Vegas after hours and could not locate any. Can you direct me to the proper section?

I think that he meant the pictures I posted from about a month after you saw it. Have you seen them?

I have a friend at work who's wife is a concierge at The Mirage. She is trying to find out a little inside info for me.

Officially, the volcano is scheduled to open late in 2008.

The concierge says the best guess she heard is sometime in October.

Posted a new volcano picture this morning on the Picture Board. Looks like they are installing water canons similar to the Bellagio pool but on a smaller scale.

Thanks for your pictures of the Mirage Volcano. I can't wait to see pictures of the new improvements they have made in the new volcanic display! too bad you can't submit video!

Welcome, Lis! I'll try to update it and others on my next trip late in September. Did you realize you can enlarge those pictures full screen simply by clicking on them? Very nice scrapbook program we got here.

Will,
I discovered that I could access all photos by doing a search of "photos". I originally was looking for the photos under the general topics in the forum section. It is nice to see the progression of buildings as well as the fountains.
