Jeff - thanks for a great TR! Sounds like you had a good time but sorry you had to work so much. Congrats to Patti on that royal - hope she enjoyed her massage!

Also sorry that storm affected you. I was headed to the pool right when the lightning started. When I got there, they closed the pool down - told me to come back later. I went back to my room and promptly fell asleep for 2 hours - must have needed it. Never did make it to the pool!

I think Palazzo sends comp room offers if you can fog a mirror! My first one came after a visit with about one hour of $25 Pai Gow play.

The hotel you're talking about in Mesquite is right across teh street from where we stayed. The Oasis.

Patti said the massage was great. It sure should have been for what they charge! You could get 4 massages here in Columbus for the same price!

The storm in Vegas seemed to blow thru pretty quick. I guess it hung around longer in Phoenix.

I emailed Customer Service about the poor communication during our delay.

They responded with a nice note, acknowledging the issues and included two "Electronic Travel with Us Vouchers" (E-TUV)for $100. each.

And there's only 21 rules of how to use!

Thanks for taking the time to post for us all here on talkvegas. I enjoyed your report, but you didn't really mention what Patti thought of the Palazzo room? Or was it just another fabulous room like you always get whenever you travel with Ms Patti?

I'm sorry you didn't make it over to MB for the buffet; I really wanted to hear an expert opinion on the seafood selection there.

Next two 'vacations' are both work. A State convention next weekend here in Ohio then the National Convention in Orlando is in November.

Patti loved the room although we weren't in it much.

I'd like to get another Vegas trip in this year but it looks doubtful.

I totally forgot about trying the MB buffet. However, as you can see, dining sure wasn't on the top of our list this trip.

Patti was really excited about HER Royal and she enjoyed spending HER money! (although she did offer to let me get a massage) LOL

You may be on to something. A roving 'shoulder rub' crew in the casino. They could charge a buck or two a minute while you're sitting at a machine or table?????

At Seneca there are girls that do massages while your at the poker table. They are always busy and charge $1.00 a minute with a five minute minimum.

Jeepers, can you send them out of the room to the vp machines? Those uprights are killers on the shoulders!
