I've recently received offers in the mail which are offering me airfare along with free nights, free play, and transportation to and from the airport. One was from Beau Rivage in Biloxi, and the other from Gold Strike in Tunica. Unfortunately, they have dates attached to them when I'm not available to travel on. But I'm REAL CURIOUS about these offers. They seem almost too good to be true.

I used to receive offers fro junkets to Mississipi and Atlantic City including air and room. Got a couple to Laughlin too.

They're for real. They just got your info from someone who lists you as a player.

My Planet Hollywood offers always have an airfare clause. I haven't read the details in a long time. If I was a less busy person, I might read the fine print and fly somewhere on my own pass and use the hotel offer to come back...just to play the game.

I've got the offer from from Tunica, but being a minnow and not a whale, it had a $300 price for the airfare - then free transport from the airport and 4 nights stay.

I've never gotten an offer like that before; but a significant portion of my play in November and May was at Imperial Palace, which is now fully under the Harrahs umbrella. So I may be a microblip on their radar.

I know there's also those offers that suggest "come stay with us in Vegas and we'll give you an airline voucher for your next return" but I don't think those air comps are worth much.

The ones I've received have always been the kind where you must use there travel agency. Any possible savings are quickly wiped out by the higher price of thier air fare. I've gotten these on my last "The Hotel" stay.
