The Nevada Supreme Court threw out the case where the some Wynn dealers sued over a policy that forced them to share their tips with their supervisors.

The court said the matter should be handled by the Nevada Labor Board. The dealers say this ruling would mean that workers could not file suit againt their employees over labor issues.

Were the Wynn dealers supposed to share their tips with all of their supervisors? Does Wynn have dual-rates?

Dual-rates are floor supervisors who still "dress down" and work as dealers from time to time. At Horseshoe, they get paid their floor rate when they work as floor supervisors, and the dealer rate (including a share of the tokes) for the hours they work as a dealer. Probably half of the floor supervisors at Horseshoe are also dual-rates. I couldn't tell you, though, how often they actually "dress down".
