Dag may be the only one here that can afford this place. I think anyone can stop in and check them out. They also have a beautiful and informative website.
Voyager Classics is a rental car company with some pretty sweet rides. They have very nostalgic cars that put a hard dent in the wallet. I've seen place a few times and it is located on Tropicana between Paradise and Swenson which puts it just outside the entrance to the airport. I've been wanting to stop in some time and haven't found time to do it. Their website is very exciting for car fans.
I saw some of their cars at the SEMA show this week and that boosted my interest and made me want to post here instead of waiting until I visited. You can see all the beautiful cars on their website with some good info on the cars. They have fast cars such as a street legal two seat Indy race car or a '67 Austin Healey 3000, or maybe a 1985 IROC Z has a special place in your heart. BTW, all of these cars have women's names. Maybe you like nostalgia better than speed, which might make you want to have a date with Chelsea, a '57 Chevy Bel Air with shiny red paint and a chrome engine. Or maybe Carrie, a '58 2 door Impala. Maybe you want an ultimate luxury car. Check out Reagan, she's a 87 Rolls Royce Silver Spur Limo. They have some great reproductions cars that will blow your socks off. Marlene is 36 Mercedes Benz 2 seat convertible, Danielle is a 34 Deusenburg Model J, and Celeste is a beautiful 2003 Vette with a '53 body style. And there are lots more cars to chose from.
In addition to the outstanding cars available, they also have a diner which I have not tried. It features very cheap burgers and dogs. Their menu is on the website too.
In terms of practicality, I'll agree with any of the nay sayers. OTOH, this town wasn't built on practicality. This place has not been open long, but it was open before the economy took a nose dive. I wish them well, even though I doubt that I will be renting from them anytime soon. I don't even see how the diner thing pays it's bills. Maybe it's just a good place to visit on the web and dream a little. It's a very nice web site although it does have some issues. But who am I to complain?<g>
