Want to let everyone know that this restaurant will be featured on the Food Network on Sunday December 7th. Lee saw the sign at the cashier when he was paying our check.

Thanks Again Sharon. I just saw it. It was a Rachel Ray vacation show. Strange for the food network is that it is not on repeat 3 or 4 times today.
I think that she did a fair job of hitting the non-tourist spots. She hit the Egg and I, Hash House A Go Go, and Lindo Michoacan which I rate pretty high. And I've heard good things about the other places.
I want to try Carnevino and Triple George some time, but I've heard enough bad reports from both to keep them very low on my to do list.
Mediterranean and Indian dishes don't attract me. Nor does a wine house.
Tell Lee that we look forward to his (and your) evaluation of the Egg & I whenever he recovers enough for that extra long trip report that we have all been waiting on. You two aren't normally big on breakfast in Las Vegas, are you?
We just got home from Baltimore and missed the show. We were checking the Food Network to see if it would come on again later tonight but no dice!
I thought the breakfast at Egg & I was great. Good service from very attentive and friendly staff. I would surely go back again. We have breakfast almost every AM while on vacation (not always during "normal" breakfast hours). Since Lee was sick during part of the trip we got up early when he had recovered and were able to hit someplace different for breakfast. The majority of the mornings we get breakfast from the Cafe at the California. Lee gets the Aloha package and the breakfasts there are usually free.

Yes it is, Mike. The menus are almost identical. You would find it very familiar. The decor is a little warmer. You will enjoy the consistency of great food and excellent service.
I guess you need to try it. It does get crowded, especially during prime breakfast hours. The address is 4533 W Sahara Ave, which is on the south side of the street, west of Arville, in a shopping center

Triple George was mentioned above and I'm disappointed that it got a bad review, but I somewhat have to agree.
Our first visit there was about a year ago and the food was exceptionally good.
Our second visit was a couple of months back and it was noticeably bad and almost deserted during the early dinner-time hours.
I always suspect things like that happen when the boss is absent for any length of time.
Triple George was modeled after Tadich's in San Francisco which has been in operation since the early 1900's and has more than likely never experienced an opening hour when the owner/boss was not physically present overseeing the complete operation all the way from the front bar to the back.
Congrats to the Buich boys for doing such a commedable job serving the people of San Franciso for so many years.
