Well, we did it again, a quick trip to AC. Sharon had some coupons for $219 dollars from Harrahs if we visited this past Saturday, and I had $30 from the Bogata and 2 free comedy club tickets. So we figured we'd call and get a comp room and have a quick visit.
I called it an early day on Friday and by 2pm we where on the road to AC, we ran into a lot of traffic. 3.25 hrs mater we are in AC. Dinner at McCormick and Schmeck at Harrahs... excellent meal! My seared Tuna was the best!
Borgata Comedy club was ok, I got my moneies worth (free). Here is an AC gem for all you AC travelers, Sharon sort of fell into. She lost her Borgata card, so up to the desk we go. They can't find her in the system, so she is issued a new card, and asked if she is a preimium member of any other slot club and if she has a card, they will give her $100 in slot credits and a free pass for 2 to the privite lounge, and automaticly upgrade her to the top level Black lable club. OK! So we visit this lounge, and let me tell ya, this beats Harrahs hands down. Prime rib, pealed shrimp, snacks, deserts, and any drink you want...all free here. Now this is the way a preimium player should be treated, not like cattle at the Harrahs AC properties. Got me to thinking why are we wasteing our time at Harrahs in AC? Oh I almost forgot, her new upgraded status also includes a free stay at the Borgata too. So next time we'll be staying here!
We play here and I loose mostly, but Sharon is having fun and winning.
Back to Harrahs, I get Dueces 2 times on a Quarter machine, but every time I play the higher denoms, I get killed. So my winning don't last real long here. Also that quarter 10 play machine really chews through a bank roll kinda quickly too! LOL
We wander through the high limit area, with no luck and try the bartops with no luck as well. We call it a night at 4am.

The next day we shower and dress and check out, zero balance. I have made it to Platinium status (woohoo)! But we check out and head for the boat and Baltimore.
The atlantic City Boat show will probably be my next visit to AC, the first weekend in February.

Lee - sounds like you had some fun in AC. I'd still like to see it someday. Congrats to Sharon on the Black Label status at Borgata and you on Diamond status at Harrah's!

Mike, I just made Platinium, not Diamond! I'll need another visit or 2 for that, and the end of the year is coming too fast for me to make that lofty goal. But I do get free parking now! WooHoo!

ROFTLMAO! I finally make Harrah's Diamond - and you say I'm gonna be treated like cattle in AC. One more reason to stay on the left coast<g>.

It does sound like you got wonderful treatment at the Borgata, and I bet you got a thicker slice of prime rib than I got in Harrah's coffee shop in Reno.
