The web host that handles our TalkVegas account is having problems with it's server and there have been extensive outages in the last few days. They are hard at work on the problem but the problem exists.

They have offered to move us to another server. If they do, it could take 24 hours or so for all of the internet to recognize the new location. It will still be www.talkvegas.com and your bookmarks would not change. Technically, all that is changing is the DNS. During the changeover, you would get error messages.

If the website does not work for 24 hours, hitting refresh or F5 on your computer will help the internet locate talkvegas.

I have decided to live with the spotty outages for now, in hopes that the web host will soon find a solution to the problem. Your patience is appreciated.

While crossing my fingers, I can tell you that I think/hope the erroneous firewall error has been fixed. With a little luck, the recent spat of spotty random outages is gone. They (the web host) think they might have it fixed and I have not had any problems since early this evening. They say that they will keep a close eye on it the next few days, just to make sure.

Dang, it's much better but not fixed.
