Agreed. I pick and buy next time. Cortez is fine this time. As you know, Wendell is a smart man and very comfortable in his selections. I may be less smart as I don't like confining myself to such a small comfort zone in a city as dynamic as Las Vegas. I find some deals, I find some duds. Cortez can produce very nice meals and fine dining. So can other places. If you remember, our service, server, salads, meat quantity, and lack of relish tray were duds last time. Meat quality and price prevented disaster.

My next Cortez visit is March 23rd. Anyone care to join us?? (Love this restaurant) Our last visit (in November) was great - excellent service, great food at great prices. (Thanks for the compliment Joe) Another one of our favorites is the Prime Rib Loft at the Orleans for Thanksgiving Dinner (Reservations recommended). 2nd Street grill at the Freemont (downtown) is also neat, expecially if you like edible flowers in your food). As Joe said, there are so many great places to dine in Vegas, it would take up this entire BB to list them all BUT it seens as though we have to have at least one meal in the Cortez Room per each LV visit. (We would love company on the 23rd of March)
