   Valet at Flamingo
While we've been to the Flamingo often, we've never stayed there and never valet or self parked there. We are going the end of April and I've booked us at Flamingo. How do you get to the Valet/Registration entrance? Is it from that little street between Flamingo and O'Sheas from the strip or can you get there through a back way?

I'm not sure about the little street by O'Sheas, but you can get to the Flamingo valet from the LV strip entrance between the Flamingo and Bill's Gambling Hall (the casino formerly known as the Barbary Coast -per Kes). I usually take the back way - Flamingo to a little street called Audrie - the valet entrance is right next to that little strip mall that contains Battista's Hole-In-The-Wall.

Lee is the Flamingo and valet expert. Basically you'll want the driveway between Bills (old Barbary Coast) and the Flamingo. You can enter it from the strip but you can't exit. The other entrance to that driveway and the only exit is out the back. That driveway crosses an alley below the edge of the Flamingo monorail station and on to Audrie, so if remember that monorail station as the turn in point, it might help you keep your bearings. I mention this because it isn't as smooth and well marked as some of the newer casinos.

There are a million different ways to get to the back entrance if you on Paradise, Flamingo, Audrie, Koval, or the alley. The route you mentioned on the drive next to O'Sheas will take you to the alley even though that drive is often used for bus drop offs and pick ups at the Flamingo.

Thanks so much! I was hoping there was a back way. As much as I try to picture it, I can't picture the driveway between Flamingo and Bills. I know there's a little deli in the Flamingo next to Bills, but I can't picture the driveway. But as long as I can get there the back way, that's the way we'll go! Wonderful! Thanks again for the replies!

Be very careful and alert while pulling into the Flamingo valet. The other drivers don't seem to notice the spot signs, going the back way. And going in, off the strip between Bills & Flamingo, the pedestrians don't seem to care where they walk either.

Lee is right, there are "issues" getting to the valet. The parking garage and alley is back there too, so there are a lot of drivers and pedestrians that don't know where they are going.

I can't think of any easy alternatives to avoid the valet matrix or the construction. All I can think of is maybe you could use that alley if street traffic was blocked by construction. That alley goes from Flamingo to Koval by the Venetian, with several obstacles inbetween...or at least it did a few years ago. If you are north and/or east of the Flamingo, just follow the monorail tracks. Your original thought of the O'shea's alley might work for you.

We always use the valet everywhere we go. I have never had access problems at the Flamingo and the valet entrance is very close to the check in and has reasonable access to the casino.

While it was a number of years ago, the valet at the Flamingo did manage to lose my big rented white Cadillac for about an hour and a half. This has never happened to me anywhere else and it is sort of disturbing when you are sitting there at about the one hour mark and start thinking about all the hassle it is going to be to deal with the car rental company. But it turned up so no real damage.

Thanks everyone! Like I said earlier, we do valet alot, just never at Flamingo before. Add in that we will be arriving after dark with all the lights it could be confusing so I thought I'd ask for help. I wasn't disapointed! I did find a map with all the valet lines for Flamingo so that should help also. I'm sure after we get there we will wonder why we are so worried about it. LOL Thanks again!
