I've run across a lot of intereting deals lately. Many are for locals, although some might work for tourists also. One that comes to mind now is MGM has a special website for locals that includes dining, hotel, shows, spas, and more. You can find it at

There are some places to get offers for free show tickets. Once known as Vegas Seat Fillers, it is now Showtickets4Locals. It requires you have a valid Nevada ID and is an email blast of show tickets available for free to mostly less than stellar shows in town. Their website is showtickets4locals.com and you can join for free. There is a paid upgrade service to get first shot as the tickets become available.

There is another locals only ticket outlet called House Seats. It costs $89 up front for a year. It has mostly the same shows as Showtickets4locals. There are some differences, some good, some bad.
