Hooters missed a big interest payment today and is not ruling out bankruptcy as an option.

I made a quick stop at Hooters last Saturday around 4:30 PM and was surprised to see how busy the place was.

It does appear to be going down-hill a bit though clean-up-wise.

BTW ------ I have a very strong suspicion that each and every casino on the LV Strip is in one form of trouble or another without making that fact accessible to the general public.

If you want to know the "inside scoop", just ask any honest valet person. Having one in the family provides one more knowledge than one can possible handle.

PS... I do not have a family member in the valet business now. They left town because they could not make a decent living any longer and a greater opportunity presented itself.

I think Will is right. So many of the casinos have either had big construction projects, new ownerships, big mergers or leveraged buyouts to go private, they are buried in debt.
Hooters probably also has a corporate problem in that they lost a lot of money on their failed airline attempt.
The place where I see it especially is the offers from the station casinos. They seem to want to drag in out of town clientele rather than relying on the local market.
