Wendell & Maxine were in Las Vegas a couple of weeks ago, but they were slowed down from their usual trot when Maxine injured her knee the previous week. She is scheduled for arthroscopic surgery this Thursday, and Wendell is keeping busy taking care of her.

ouch! DB had that kind a surgery a few years ago. They can do amazing things. If Wendell takes a break to read these posts, Wendell please give our love to Maxine and tell her to follow exactly what the Dr says about recovery

For David it was ice on ice off every 20 minutes - he did it religiously and it really speeded up his recovery.

i used bags of costco frozen peas for "ice" on my knee.kind of molded itself around the knee.

DAG, we haven't been to Vegas since November.
We keep setting dates, and then life gets in the way!

Thanks for the well wishes guys - Maxine has recovered nicely, and we are both looking forward to our November trip. (Se managed to get one trip into Branson, however, it definately is not Vegas.)
