The place looks almost the same. All we need now is some volunteers to try it.
Taking one for the team, I ventured next door from Stuffed to where there is a new breakfast/lunch joint. Maybe you've heard of the old Omelet House in the hospital district near Charleston and Rancho. They have expanded to the Plaza. I went there for breakfast. I've been a long time fan of the original Omelet House. It's a Vegas tradition. Their claim to fame was HUGE omelets. In this land of excellent breakfast choices, the old Omelet House just didn't stack up. Neither does this new location. It's a good, stick to your ribs, comfort food, breakfast though. Being the fool that I am, I did not have an omelet. I had chicken fried steak and eggs. It was good, not great. It was like a no transfat greasy spoon. Anyway, it's probably the best breakfast downtown.
There are promises of more unique dining in the future.
