There is a new burger joint in town and it's name is Burger Joint. Located at The Flamingo, it is just down the stairs from the Garden Bar.
I thought it had a modern 90s tackiness with it's pink and white decor, football shaped dining area, and lots of TVs on the wall. Two "kids" in Ed Hardy shirts were saying it was cool retro. Maybe we're both right.<g>
It's not a bad burger joint at all. Prices are very good when compared to other upscale burger joints on the strip. The menu is slightly scaled back from those other places too. They do have about 8 different burgers to start with and you can add various cheeses and toppings and choose a bread type.
The burger was good, the fries were good, the chocolate shake was good. The place is brand new and there were a few little kinks that need to be worked out. Overall, not a bad deal. I wouldn't mind eating there again. And to be honest, it's probably one of the better places to eat at The Flamingo.
