Harrah's Tahoe sent me an offer I couldn't refuse, and it turned into a great birthday bash!
Upon checking in, I was informed that I had been upgraded to a jacuzzi suite .. cool! Guppies don't rate suite treatment in a normal economy<g>, but I knew it was going to be awesome when I walked in and saw my guest bathroom off to the right. The living room area was about the size of my living room & dining area at home ... comfy sofa & chair, coffee table, a very large old tube television in an armoire, table & 4 chairs and a nice bookcase/coffee/fridge bar at one end. LOL, the bedroom was larger than my master bedroom at home, with a king bed, a smaller (27 inch?) television in another armoire, chair, and I even got turn-down service and 4 delicious chocolates. The bathroom had the jacuzzi, a separate gold/tile shower, more amenities than usual - and both bathrooms had a small television so I wouldn't miss anything - assuming I had turned them on<g>.
I slowly burnt through my $100 in free play, but vp play wasn't exactly rocket science on this trip - a very nice quarter machine dealt me Aces+kicker on my first night.

The next day, I stopped for a cigarette to kill 5-10 minutes before the Diamond Lounge opened, and I held the J,A,Q of spades and drew the K & 10 for the Royal. YEE HAW!
Thursday morning, I totally enjoyed my champagne cruise on Bill Harrah's yacht, the Tahoe Star, and I lucked out there too - their normal tour group averages about 30 guests, but there were only 7 of us Thursday morning. I wish they had taken us over to see the Thunderbird Lodge, but we cruised across the lake to Emerald Bay, and it was just a great way to spend a couple of hours away from the casinos.
My offer also included a $100 dining credit, which I naively thought would buy me a nice steak at Friday's Station and a buffet. Nope, you have to use th entire $100 in one meal - so it was steak & lobster night at Friday's Station Thursday night.

It's the steakhouse located on the 18th floor with great views of the lake & mountains, and I had no problem running the bill up<g>. Everything was excellent - the service (tag team of Dave & Alex), the caesar salad, raisen bread, filet & lobster and a glass of merlot - total of $98 before tip. It was a great meal, and I totally relaxed & enjoyed myself, which is a good thing since I'd probably never have that meal if I was paying for it<vbg>.
So, a great room, a fun cruise, a great meal, and I came home a winner - that's what I call the suite life.
