The shuttle that went from Bill's Gambling Hall to the Orleans and the Gold Coast is changing its route, beginning Sunday. It now will depart and return from the Tropicana to the Gold Coast and the Orleans.

Thank you for the information as we get in on Saturday and are staying at the Orleans. Will miss the mid strip drop off, but we shall adapt.

I think that I heard something about taking the shuttle from the Orleans to the Gold Coast, then walking across the street to the Rio, and catching a Rio somewhere mid-strip. Maybe it was Harrah's. I forgot exactly how that went.

where do you pickup shuttle at rio? i have never used theirs before.

It is very close to and faces the Gold Coast. It is along that west hallway between the casino a parking garage on the west side of the Rio. I know because I've used that garage a lot.

If you were in the Rio, it would be kinda close to the Carnival World Buffet, Lucky Strike Lanes, the poker room, etc.

I don't if you need to be a guest or have a players card or anything else to ride any of the various shuttles.

They always reserve the right to ask to see a keycard as a guest of the hotel, especially if its crowded. I haven't had it happen to me yet, but I don't have a ton of experience on them.

I've heard a $5 bill also works as a keycard in those situations.

Harrah's to The Rio
Shuttles run on an approximate 30 minute schedule to each property between the hours of 10 a.m and 1a.m. Loading at the Rio is at the side entrance, loading at Harrah's is at the entrance at rear of casino next to the check-in counter.


There is also a shuttle from the Palms to the Fashion Show Mall.....check for "free Las Vegas shuttles" online.

Good news on the shuttle scene: Boyd got so many complaints about the shuttle stop being moved that they put it back! Starting last Monday, the shuttles once again run between Gold Coast, Orleans and Bill's Gambling Hall. YAY!!!
