Pampas Brazillian Grille is one of those meat places...much like Via Brasil, Texas de Brazil, Yollies, etc. Pampas is better than Yollies, but it doesn't have the wow factor of some of the other competition. It now has it's own wow factor, and it's called breakfast. For only $12.95, it is the ultimate all you can eat steak and eggs breakfast. And it's located on the strip, in the Miracle Mile at Planet Hollywood.
Here's the deal, you go to the fixins bar, and load up on scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, grilled bacon, baked scones with strawberry butter, fry bread with cinnamon sugar, fresh fruit, fresh baked danish, fresh muffins, fresh coffee cake, empanadas filled with fruit, empanadas filled with egg, cheese, and sausage, house smoked salmon, bagels, cream cheese, yogurt, and granola. Then you come back to your table and the gauchos come by regularly with pichana (top sirloin), smoked ham, whole hog sausage, grilled pineapple, and polish kielbasa. These items are on a spit and carved tableside onto your plate. Drinks are extra, but the bar is open. You can have traditional beverages, or fancy coffees, or bloody marys, or mimosas, or anything from the bar.
I tried a little of most everything except bread products. Everything was very edible. The scrambled eggs were much better than I was expecting coming off a steam table. The pichana and eggs made a very good and solid meal. The cooked pineapple and sausage were well worth second helpings. Service was very good.
Minuses would be that there is no biscuits and gravy for the traditional breakfasts, as well as no waffles or pancakes. There are no made to order eggs, so your choices are scrambled eggs or no eggs. Coffee, tea, sodas, milk, and juice are extras and not included in the price.
I recommend this place for most breakfast people I know. They just started serving breakfast this week. I hope it works out well for them and it continues.
