At least 2 people are dead and several injured after a car crashed into the Edgewater casino at approx 0930 this morning.

The car was driven by an elderly man, approx 70 years old, who may have suffered an medical episode.

It appears the car was traveling down Bruce Woodbury Dr, which kinda runs right into the valet lane for the hotel. Police say there are tire marks where the car hit the curbs leading into the hotel which guided the car straight into the casino. The car stopped about 150 feet later in the casino cage. The driver and passenger of the car are believe to be alive at this time.

If you look on Google Earth or other map program with an sky view, you can see how that road leads into the casino. If you scale it out, you can see that he was well over halfway into the casino and wasn't far from coming out the other end.

As more details come in, some reports say he only got as short as 35 feet into the casino.

The man was arrested and released on bail.

I too, am very familiar with that area and remember spending hours and hours there.

multiple turns to get in that door,still don't see it as an accident?
