Today is Super Bowl Sunday so I took a leisurely stroll through the Palazzo Hotel Casino to check out the action and was plesantly surprised by the huge crowd enjoying it as much as I was.
The game was scheduled to start at 3:20 PM and since it was just about 1:00 PM the bars and restaurants were just starting to open their doors for the game.
I was in the vicinity of Lagasse's Stadium and there was no line so I went in to see what Superbowl Sunday looked like at Lagasse's newest LV restaurant.
And Boy!, I was surprised to find a darn nice restaurant/bar/stadium with a lot of fans getting settled in for the action. Needless to say - every seat in the place was reserved, so there was standing room only; but that was OK by me because our Super Bowl Sunday was planned at the house with a load of my football fan friends from up and down the states of Nevada and California. I was just there to see what it looked like. And I was very impressed!
It looked somewhat like a stadium style movie theater but with comfortable couches instead of individual seats. But that was the preferred seating section so if you want the ultimate in comfort, make sure you make a reservation.
Just want to tell you all to make sure you visit Lagasse's Stadium the next time you're in town to watch your favorite teams in a most enjoyable setting.
They really went overboard in making this a remarkable place for sports fans.
Just make sure you make a reservation as this place will surely be the number one sport fan hangout and I'm pretty sure that the other casinos will follow suit very soon.
Good job, Mr Lagasse!
