Does anyone know of a place in the Fremont Street experience that sells beer and liquor?
We usually split out stay up and do the first half at Orleans or Gold Coast which have great liquor prices, but this time we are starting out downtown.We like to have an occasional drink in our room, especially if we are getting blown away at gambling.

I think there's several as you start to leave the canopy heading toward the El Cortez.

There is an ABC store near the Golden Gate. That might be more convenient.

Lynn, we use the ABC store for a lot of things. However the choices are limited. If your looking for a special single malt scotch, they may only have one or 2.
We use it mostly for convienance not for selection or for price. While they don't kill you. they are slightly higher then a standard liquier store.

throw a bottle in your luggage and you can take the little bottles o booze on to the plane in your carryon put those little bottles in your 1qt plastic zip lock bag.that should keep you going until you get to the goldcoast
