There has been much said on various topics about the Tropicana. There is an article in the Las Vegas Sun that gives some good insight and has a great picture to show off the new carpet with the white marble floors.

For those of you keeping score on the Tropicana overhaul, Cafe Nikki and the pool area are coming along pretty well.

One shocking note that caught my eye was the tiffany glass ceiling above the blackjack tables. It has changed from bright spring colors to various shades of red and orange that kinda match the carpet. I don't know how or when they did it, but it looks okay.
