I am kinda suprised by the offers I have been receiving in the mail, or should i say, Lack of offers I am getting in the mail? Just wondering if it's me or is everyone else in my same boat. I know I haven't visited for 6 months, but I'm not a lost cause, I could be pursuaded with a nice juicy offer! I am getting a lot of tournament offers, where I pay $499 to enter and it includes a room for 3 nights in some god awful hotel. Those I am getting! LOL
I'm still getting offers from a lot of the MGM properties - Mirage, Bellagio, Luxor, NYNY, and Mandalay Bay. But most of them are coming via email rather than snail mail.
I also keep getting offers from M Resort which I'd like to take advantage of some day.
And Beau Rivage in Biloxi constantly sends me offers - I'm not sure why.
Will - a lot of them have been invitations to slot tournaments which involve 3 free nights. But some, like NYNY and Mandalay Bay (places I've stayed before), are offers for 3 free nights with free play. (I've been really faithful to MGM properties over the years so that's probably why I still get these.)
If I remember correctly, the M Resort offer was for 2 free nights and a dining credit. I don't remember the resort fees but then I didn't read the fine print!
MSS offers and the other properties ie, sams town, fremont, california have ceased. Sharon did get a personal phone call from harrahs LV. It was a guesture, they asked what if anything they could do to encourage a visit from us (her). We still have no plans for a recent visit, but we are open to offers and are very flexable on dates and times. Which is what you need to make the really good offers work!

Lee, have you tried to call your host at MSS? You probably give them pretty good action compared to their average guest. If Harrah's wants to work with you and you could get MSS to sign on, that's about all you need, isn't it?
We got a call from Green Valley on Tuesday, from my host. (See Sharon doesn't get all the hosts) LOL He was very nice and personable, offered us some free nights at any of the properties, and would make the arrangments. I think we may use this on our next trip after all, it is summer and I like the pool at GVR.
My work has really picked up these last few weeks, almost like the old days! I just wonder for how long will it last. My point being, being here working, making hay while the sun shines, so to speak. Sounds like a better choice, and waiting till things slow a little before heading to my favorite place on earth!
