Actually I'm not a fussy eater and one buffet is as great as any other as far as I'm concerned, but I do love Prime Roast Beef and usually have a difficult time finding decent roast beef in any buffet line, BUT .....
Yesterday we were in Eastside Cannery a bit before dinner time and decided to have a buffet meal.
I think it was $10.20 which included tax.
I saw the prime rib and received a rather thick cut off the medium well end and soon discovered it to be the most tender and tasty beef I've ever had.
I actually cut it with my fork.
So I went back for a second slice and told the carver how good it was, so he 'awarded' me with a second slice that had to be an inch-and-a-half thick or a bit more
And it was just as good and tender as the first slice.
That was somewhat strange because most buffet 'beefs' are tough and tasteless.
The previous week we had the $15 prime rib dinner in Eastside's CARVE (?) and it was among the worse I've ever had.
