Today was free slice of pizza and big glass of home made beer day at Ellis Island - the local place that treats us very good.

I'm not a big slot player but each month they send me pizza and beer coupons that are good on Tuesdays and Saturdays for the entire month plus two check in the amount of $5 each that I can cash at the casino cage and spend as I please.

So I stop by there one or twice each week to participate in their hospitality and always enjoy myself.

This afternoon I spent a couple of hours playing the slot machines and then another hour watching the action at the crap table.

The dealers there are commendable as I watched them help a group of new kids who appeared to be playing craps for their first time ever.

New craps players seem to be very lucky and such was the case this afternoon even though none of them understood the game other than placing a bet on the pass line and placing the 6 and 8.

But the dealers were most courtious and helped them out as much as possible explaining he various bets and the odds bets in particular.
