   Rick Springfield @ Mandalay Bay
We are sitting poolside at Mandalay Bay waiting for the start of the Rick Springfield concert. I've got my new iPad connected through wireless 3G and calling up Rick Springfield songs on You Tube while we wait. I've got all kinds of new friends hanging around me right now.

I'm actually a little bored with the iPad. It is great for Plants vs Zombies and Angry Birds.

The concert was okay, glad I didn't spend more than $35 each on it. He has a couple of hits from the past that were good, his new stuff was mediocre at best. It beat sitting at home, or in a smoke filled bar on a Saturday night. Would I pay to see him again? Probably not, seen it once, can say that we saw Rick Springfield do "Jessie's Girl" live and that's about it. It wasn't a bad concert for $35, but we've been to much better ones, of course we paid a helleva lot more for those better concerts too.

For me it's a great way to make my 45 minute cardio sessions go by quicker. Like I'm doing right now on my elliptical.

Rick Springfeild, has new stuff? I'm sorry, I see him more as a midiocore daytime soap star, that had one break through hit. IMPO
I agree, for $35 you got about what you paid for. Thanks for the report.

Yeah at least the tickets weren't to bad but they still stiff you on the drinks. Each trip to the bar for one beer and one Jack Daniels took care of a $20 bill X's 3 trips, there was an additional $60 spent plus the $70 for the tickets. At least I made it up plus some on the crap tables the week before.
