   Blondies sports bar & grill
   Blondies sports bar & grill
I have never been here, but I understand it's a bar with food. I must say, that the advertisements for the place have caught my eye lately and I have added it to the places i wan't to pop in and check out on my next trip.
The ads, are "Fun facts on sports and Vegas" All the ads I have seen have been full page color magazine ads.
They offer an all you can drink option domestic beer/well drinks for $20, runs 3pm to 6pm everyday.
The fun facts on vegas are what catch my eye the most, butI wonder how they come to these numbers?
Example,.... Shrimp consumption, 60,000 pounds per day, 22 million pounds per year?
or, approx. 25 million dollars are spent on lap dances in Vegas a year?

Either way, it's a cute concept to get people to read the adds

The place is located across from the V theater (I only know this, because it's printed right under their logo at the top of every ad)

I've been there several times. It's never been a dining destination for me. It's been a convenience factor before a show.

It can get kinda busy/noisy/crowded at times, as most sports bars do. The food is not bad, the portions tend to be generous, and the prices are a little steep.

Service can vary. The waitresses are often in cheerleader outfits. There are lots of TVs with lots of sports. Many of the games are on projection TVs. If you are walking in the mall and look over to the back side of the projection screens, the game is being played backwards. At first you don't notice that. It's kinda funny to watch baseball where a batter hit's the ball and runs towards third base.

The last few times that I walked by in the late night hours, they were having beer pong tournaments and the place smelled like old draft beer. I've never noticed the smell in prime time when people are coming and going from the V Theater.

Well the newest add for blondies is out and I think, one of thier "only in Vegas" tidbits may be flawed. "More then 5000 people move to the las vegas valley on a monthly basis" Now I am sure this stat was valid a few years ago, but currently????

I kinda think that their marketing team is looking for fun facts and that their target audience doesn't know better.
