November is a standing trip for us! I have a choice each thanksgiving week, go to Vegas and have fun or stay home and have quality family time? Vegas wins hands down!!!
Very good Lee. We definately couldn't get there at those dates but Thanksgiving is still a possibility so in the meantime we will look forward to a trip report to keep the vegas juices flowing. Will there be a TV Thanksgiving get together?
Gosh, I wasn't even thinking meet for November, (Wendell always took care of that). But I guess I should get something together. When time gets closer, I will run some ideas up the flag pole and see how many will be here and what sounds good for a meet date. It won't be on the scale of what Wendell would do, that was always too big for me. I'm more of a bar/resturant kinda meet guy. Wendell did a lot for this little group, I sure miss that guy!...
September trip is looming, and work has been off the wall these weeks leading up to my vacation time in Vegas. It's odd, but when I was going so many times a year, I kinda took the Vegas thing for granted. I find myself really looking forward to Vegas, more so, then i have in many many years! 5 nights is going to be way too short, but for now, it's all I can eck out of my busy schedule. Already looking ahead to November!
Next trip after that? Who knows, maybe I'll take Harrahs up on another free trip and go where ever they want to send me for FREE! LOL
