JMT, I believe that the Marnells are making an offer themselves to buy the bank's position.
The family does a great job managing the resort and 'elevated' the Rio from its original 'dive' category by offering great dining opportunities.
And they seem to have continued to do that at the 'M', but in this case the 'M' was build to be a very nice place from the ground up.
But if Stations gets involved, you can expect to see a horse of a different color.
The only think I dislike about the 'M' is the fact that they charge resort fees even if you don't want anything to do with anything on that Resort Fee list.
Free city phone service ... I got my own cell phone.
Free airport pickup .... I drive my own car or rent one upon arrival.
Pool access .... Big deal!!
Free turn down service with a choclate bar on your pillow. (I hate that.)
And other similar nonsense which I believe costs an additional $30.
I'd rather lose that 30 at the table or pay for a handful of decent sized Martinis.
Shaken not stirred!.
