Just checking rates on car rentals for my up coming trips.
Thrifty and Dollar have exactly the same prices for my week in september, however the rates are kinda weird. 157 for an economy car, or 155 for a premium chrysler 300? Now there is a tough choice.

checked out rent a vette, they want a $50 reservation fee? I believe they refund that when you show up for the rental. They must have a high failure rate on customers not picking up, what they rent online?

Lee, it seems Rent A Vette has made some changes. The link on Talkvegas now takes you to a company in Phoeniz Az. I'm gonna have to do some research and figure out what's going on.

OTOH, if they give you a good rate, it might be a nice drive from PHX to LAS, but you'd have to change your airline booking.

They do have a cool 3 wheeler bike that rents for $199 per day. I think you should book it.

There must be a glut of Chrysler 300's. National in Duluth gave me one last week instead of the intermediate that was reserved.

It will be interesting to see what kind of miles are on my choices. Or if they try to downsize me at the booth..... You know, we are out of that car but we do have a Mazda 3 or a nissin sentra available right away.

WoW, That is a heck of a good price, looks like i need to go recheck my prices for November. My eight days came to almost $300 for the same car as you got! I only have a full size for November.
