   Restaurant Week
   Restaurant Week
It's that time of the year again when Restaurant Week hits Las Vegas. Benefiting "Three Square", some of the finest restaurants in town will be offering specials at either $20.10, $30.10, or $50.10.

If you are really missing Las Vegas or miss Mike's trip reports, visit this list of restaurants and see what kind of specials they have going on. It's a beautiful thing.

This special is only happening this week. OTOH, there seems to be a trend to offer some kind of fixed price menu, so don't be afraid to stop by and check out menus when you actually do come to town.

It's making me hungry for some Mesa Grill or Rao's. What looks good to you?

Got it - based on these menus - Delmoninco's for lunch, SeaBlue for dinner!

JMT - I miss my trip reports too!

JMT, since you mentioned Rao's, I'll have to give it a 2nd try.

I had dinner there shortly after it opened in Caesars and was very disappointed.

It must have been one of their bad nights because everyone claims it is a great dining spot.

I sat at the bar to that I could eat immediately and ordered some "uncle's special" chicken dish and it could only be compared to 'eating dice' - very bland and difficult to chew.

I tried to complain but there was no one to complain to for the next five minutes, so I paid my bill and left.

Everyone says I had a bad night and should go back again.

You agree?

I like the way you think Lee. It sounds very good.

Mike, I do hope that you get back in the Vegas groove soon. How's your Thanksgiving looking?

Will, I have heard good things about Rao's but never tried it myself. I just think it looks pretty attractive to me in the list of menus on the link. Personally, I LOVE steaks. It's really hard to make my idea of a great steak dinner look special on a menu.
