this past friday, with all the rain, we choose to go visit AC instead of the boat this weekend. After my winning trip to Harrahs Chester, I was ready to try my luck again.
We arrived at Harrahs Marina AC and checked in. Up-graded to a waterfront tower corner suite! Nice room, whirlpool tub, one of those rain showers. 2 bathrooms, 2 big screen TVs duel sofas and bar area, with Panoramic view of the marina area, from the 43 floor. WOW Best room ever in AC. This riveled The Hotel in Vegas. Nice, very nice.
Here is what we came with, Sharon had $250 in vouchers for the machines, and a $50 food coupon, $40 harrahs gift card, $50 in spa credit. I had a $100 voucher for the machines.
Dinner in the coffee shop, total $51, I had the worst Grilled cheese sandwich, that I have ever had in my life! The soup was ok, as the onion rings too. Best part of dinner, $8.50 rum & cokes!LOL
Sharon picks where we play, as she wants to smoke. So we find the bar area, and I play a dollar Deuce machine that takes 10 credits to play max. I play for awhile and I draw to a Royal Flush. That's 8K, woohoo! from here we move to a 10 play machine where I draw, yet another royal flush 4K, am delt a wild royal also $1250, damn, just over the limit and another W2G! Sharon isn't doing badf, but I think my winning, is beginning to bother her as shes not getting anything big, just hanging on. We have all been there at some point. Any way, we move again, per her wishes.
This time, we move into the circle bar. This used to be a sleepy little place to unwind and have a nice drink and play a little VP. Now they have a DJ and it's basicly a club, with VP in the bar. We are the oldest couple in the place. I don't know any of the music, but I do like some of the beats and even download a couple of my favorites. The one that stands out is "I Like That", by Richard Vission & Static Revenger. Any way, it was a great people watching place. Young people galore! Over served young ladies that are having trouble walking in those 5 inch heels. Anyway this is another 10 credit machine, and I hit Deuces for 2K, it took Harrahs almost an hour to pay me. When they did, security was all over the place. I wasn't happy with how long they left me sitting there, just watching the young girls dance, ahh wasted youth!
At one point later I excused my self for the mens room, and upon my return, Sharon has made new friends at the bar. A young couple (21 yrs old), and it's the first time in a casino and she has won something like $75. They cant seem to get the attention of the bartender. I bought them a round of drinks, and they went and found a seat. They thanked us, and I thought a cute little couple, hope they have a good time. Later the kid comes over while Sharon is powdering her nose, with shots of Jamison. Any way, I say down the hatch, and then the kid says it, like a knife in the back. "hey man, you are so cool, I hope when I'm your age, I can still do this, like you" Rrrrrrrr! Thanks for the reminder, that I'm old! LOL
Anyway, we played till 6am, caught a quick nap in our suite, showered and out the door to pick up a friend at a marina. On the way out Sharon picks up her harrahs gift cards (2, $20 cards)and buys a new Harrahs sweat shirt at the gift shop with them!
My winning take for the evening $12,700
I have no plans for a return trip, but I am open to offers! LOL

I really cant beleive my muck! for something like that to happen in Vegas in November and then 2 consecutive local gambling trips to come out a winner like that! I hate to see it end! But I also know it's coming! LOL

WTG Lee. That sounds like fun. Was that new club playing the music loud? I guess it's a key factor in me getting old that I don't like loud music, except at concerts.

Let's see, you made over $4,000/hour at Chester, PA. And you probably made about $2,000/hour in AC. That's a 50% pay cut! I hope you get a pay raise if you ever come back to Las Vegas.

yes the club had the music turned up!
I need a Vegas trip, these last couple of wins, make me want to fly out this weekend! But I got to watch Sharons days off. we are limited, ya know? I don't think a LV vacation will fly so well by myself! Not that she would not let me go, but Sharon enjoys Vegas too.
As for the pay cut, I did have a nice room and they bought me dinner and drinks, so the perks were better @ the second Harrahs!
