   smart phone app, WinPoker
I just bought the WinPoker App for my iphone.
It works and plays just like the program most of us have already, it just now works on my ipad & iphone too.
One knock, I must watch my speed on the ipad, as it doesn't always hold all the cards if I tap 2 cards at one time.
cost is $9.99

Do they just send you a check when you win?

Seriously, it sounds like fun. I love the game, but it has been for Windows and Windows mobile in the past and I don't have those operating systems.

Thanks Lee. I got it on the iPad and I like it.

I found a fun little flaw in the program, at least the HD version on the iPad. When playing multi hands, especially 100 hands, it's kinda slow to deal the cards. And when it adds your win credits, it's pretty slow. Both of these issues are easily overcome by hitting the deal button again.

The fun flaw is to change the denomination of your play while it is awarding credits. It will pay you at whatever rate is shown on the screen. Just tap the denomination at the bottom of the screen and select a new level while it's paying.

For example, if you are playing 100 hands at the penny level and get a decent hand that wins 2000 credits, wait until it starts adding the wins to your credits and change the denomination to $100. It will begin paying your $100 per credit at that time. Even if it is already adding them and you only get the last 1500 credits on that level, that's an extra 150,000 to work with. After it has paid, you can switch it back to the penny level.

I call it a fun flaw because it has no real value. It could come in handy if you like playing at the higher levels because you can only add $10,000 at a time. If you like playing 100 hands at the $100 level, well, that's a lot more than $10,000. So this is an easy way to start a session with a few million dollars.

Yes, that is a flaw, I ran it up, played at the $100 level and took it all the way down, fast. I won't be playing 10 play VP at the $100 level any time soon in the real casino! LOL

I have had this app for a long time on the iPhone and it is a great training tool for VP. I use the Analyze a Hand feature when we are playing in a casino to make sure we are making the right play if I am not sure exactly how to play a hand. We still have never hit a Royal with the app yet though.
